Josh is doing well academically and enjoying his lectures in Semester II. He is thankful to have ended Semester I with a strong average. This second semester, he is taking five classes:
- Europe in Global Politics
- The EU's Common Foreign & Security Policy
- World Politics: Conflict, security, and development
- Organised Crime
- The Politics of Sustainability
Josh only has two lectures a week until the Easter break, so he has decided to get a head start on his dissertation research which will focus on military intervention. He is still in the process of narrowing the dissertation topic to a more focused and specific angle (for example, the legitimacy of intervention, or what constitutes a success in military intervention). He is grateful that his schedule allows him to work on the dissertation already.
